The published program described a participatory evening ceremony honoring those affected by Agent Orange exposure and post-traumatic stress, concluding with Taps by American Legion Post 259.

What visitors could do
Find a name
Paper directories and the on-site kiosk helped visitors locate names by panel and line number. Volunteers were available to help.
Make a rubbing
Visitors could make name rubbings of individual service members with supplies available on site.
Leave a memento
Flowers, photographs, and letters were among the mementos visitors could leave at The Wall.
